Player registration forms for next season will be issued on or after 1st May 2008, for teams who have returned both the FVFDA and SYFA prior to this date.

New teams who are interested in joining our association should contact Michael Lennon, FVFDA Co-ordinator on 01324 506941 or via e-mail

Fixture Information

Do not rearrange games or referees without consulting the FVFDA Co-ordinator.

13 - 19`s home teams are requested to contact their respective age group rep with the result of all league and cup fixtures immediately after the fixture has ended.

IMPORTANT UPDATE

Please note that FVFDA member clubs are expected to fulfill all fixtures issued ..... Clubs cannot pick and choose which ones they want to play and which ones they choose to forfeit ..... our association has continued to grow and has nearly 200 member clubs and we are not in a position to continually re-arrange fixtures as the normal season must be completed by 7th June 08 ..... Clubs who choose not to fulfill fixtures are liable to have points deducted, fines imposed, or perhaps even be removed from the fixture list for the remainder of the season..... Whilst we are a development association, as we continue to grow, we have to bring more structure and regularity to our administration and have a common set of values and rules to treat each and every club in exactly the same manner in order to ensure fair play throughout the FVFDA.

Player Age Groups

So far, no fewer than THREE teams have been found guilty of playing with overage players at the 11-a-side age groups. This is against the rules of the game, unless you have specific written dispensation from the SYFA and the FVFDA.

This is viewed as a very serious offence and will not be tolerated by FVFDA or SYFA if it is discovered.

One official has received a 14 month suspension from ALL football for deliberately fielding an overage player.
